If you wrap your hand around the neck of the horn you can often feel drill vibration and or heat prior to "drilling thru" stop ,plug ,start over. If you still manage to "drill thru" you will remember to go slower next time.
Can-Vek seems to be "out of stock" and I was told that they are changing the fomular to meet regs. Does anyone have experience with Starbrite or Dryguy?
Check the nipple, it may be "mushroomed"a bit. Chuck the nipple in a drill and use either a fine file or emery paper to gently smooth the top. Keep checking with a cap until you get the fit that you want.
I have used this product often with good results, no bleed thru with most fabrics. Note if you follow directions on the can this stuff will "grab" on contact with no adjusting so I leave the fabric oversize and trim after contact. Cover your work surface as overspray will remain for a long time.
Check out the range rods by Eastern Maine Shooting Supply. The sectional one breaks down in my range box and the full length one carries in the barrel on woods walks. 10/32 fittings, great rod reasonable price.
I have owned a few of these and kept one. These rifles have history of being great shooters. The rifle posted is a good buy and a "get your money back deal"
