    Not an option. The hole in the cylinder is way deeper than the rest.Probably why the the gun was only $100.00 and not shot very much.

    I have a 1858 Lyman 44cal. One of the nipple holes is deeper than the rest.The hammer wont contact the cap.The gun has Ubertie markings on it.In the forums opinion would a new Ubertie cylinder fit this gun to get all 6 chambers up and running?

    I have a Hawken 54 cal Pedersoli I am interested in putting the Pedersoli ghost ring sight on it. I see it comes with two wood screws. Has anyone mounted one of these.It doesent show how it is mounted in the info Thanks.

    Fast aproaching Geezerhood. My wife was happy with my mid life crisis only being the purchase of a Pedersoli Hawken 54 cal rifle. And at 62 I will live to be 124 yrs old before I croak. I have 2 1858 .1 Uberti 5 1/2 incher and an old Lyman with Uberti marks that is an 8 incher. And have 7 lbs...
