    Hello from Missouri!

Welcome from the NW corner of MO. I'm in KC. Wife and I often drove I-70 visiting family both in KCMO and IL during the 80s. Every time went by Wentzville, she wanted to stop at the Tick Tock Clock Shoppe since we collected clocks. Don't know if it's still there. Once we did stop and she...

    Cold! Still Shoot?

I call it "cold" when the chill sets in, starts you shaken, and can't be shaken. Couldn't hold the gun steady at all. I don't shoot in that type of cold any longer. ❄ Brrr ❄

    I’m still alive

Cowboy, I'm real glad you are there for your wife in that job and a half. It is that, I know with certainty. I was my wife's caregiver for her 12-year struggle with PD, and this is my fourth holiday season without her by my side. I was blessed that she, as best as she could, always supported...

    It's here....

Hey, RR. Like today, there were options for those folk back when your rifle was first built. Yeah, they cared for their firearms not like it was glass, but their important survival tool. Options were found in a dry goods, maybe stored in a fort's supplies, or often in the wilds. This article...

    Hello from North Britain.

Welcome, Auldjin. I appreciate your focus on "research and preserve." I have a small weapons collection myself. The research is a cool part of it. Photos are always enjoyed. A look-see at yours would be a :thumb: for all, if you'd like to share it someday. ~wiksmo

Who uses their smoothbore strictly as a shotgun?

I looked at the Scout on DGW, and was surprised at the weight spec. Seems like 5.5 lbs is pretty light. Could the write up be in error? I would have thought it to be heavier than that. I also looked at the 12-ga Gibbs Shotgun Standard on the Pedersoli site, and it weighs 8.59 lbs, which is...

    Stopping by again

Yeah, know exactly how ya feel....lost my wife, too. And it took a while to quit visiting places that reminded me, as the "old haunts" are meaningful. Sorry. Good for you that your bro thought to give you a "pick me up" visit. Needed at such times. And putting together the real thing out of...

How to pattern a cylinder bore shotgun?

You are on an "adventure" with your sxs cylinder bore. This thread should point you in many good directions as you get started. The "nerves jangled" just add that little extra. ;) Have fun & Enjoy!

    Wall mounted rifle rack...input needed.

Flawless with the jagged barn board tops, the hammer dents in the heads of the railroad spikes, the weather-worn earth tone colors of old wood. ~wiksmo

Traditions Kentucky group @ 50 yards

Ditto on excellent group! Yup, I can see you wanting to adjust for elevation. But I also like your group size fitting snugly into the 2-3/8" diameter. :thumb: All together just shy of spot on. ~wiksmo

WITHDRAWN Traditions “Trapper” .50 CAL Pistol (single-shot)

Thanks, @Glock21user . This was totally unexpected. There isn't anyone in my immediate family that has any interest in firearms, as far as inheriting any of my stuff. Yesterday in conversation with my cousin, who last year move to the Pacific Northwest, we chatted about hunting and/or...
