    1849 As A First "Colt"?

    I have had a 49 pocket and Wells Fargo, 51, 61, and 62 police. My favorite for fun and ease of shooting is the 61 navy. The 49 was fun, but as others have said I spent lots of time with cap jams.

    I actually enjoy cleaning in the field. I shoot on my own land so I don't have to worry about other people being around and it has just become part of the experience for me. I don't think it would be as much fun doing that at a shooting range.
