    Log Cabin Shop

    I was just there on Monday and they had limited amounts of Schuetzen 3F, #11 caps and musket caps. All are limited to one per customer. The museum side has a nice collection of original Ohio long-rifles as well. A guy could spend the day there just looking at all the stuff..........

    modern lock identification

    I have what appears to be a large Siler Flintlock. It matches the general outline, but the only mark on it is on the inside of the lockplate-A letter"D" in a circle. Anybody?

    I have an Enterprise gunworks halfstock rifle. It is brass mounted, plain maple stock, and has a 36" barrel. I have read a little about this manufacturer from Pittsburgh-they made many rifles for west bound settlers for several decades. They would be a contemporary with Henry Leman as to years...
