Paper patch roundball in a civil war musket?

I think some of the later 1842 Springfields were rifled but used a .69 minie bullet.

Paper patch roundball in a civil war musket?

The round ball paper cartridge was used with smooth bore muskets, the paper held the ball in place on the powder and took up some of the excess windage between the ball and barrel. It didn’t impart spin to the ball since there was no rifling. IIRC, the 1841 Mississippi rifle was loaded with...

    Percussion Schuetzen Rifles?

I have the interest and a .40 1-16 barrel for a TC stock but not the time 🙁

Thompson Center 50 Cal New Englander- I just bought it and don’t know much- need load info shooting 4F Swiss.

TC nipples are usually 1/4x28 and are shorter in height. 4f powder is a flintlock priming or pistol powder. If used in your rifle I’d load it light, maybe 20 grains. .50 barrel, I’d suggest a .490 ball with a .015 patch.

    Looking for info

Uberti made some of the early Navy Arms revolvers. And I am guilty of having guns I haven’t shot. Such is life.

    Griswold and Gunnison replica maybe

    Looking for info

Not 1860 or 1851, round barrel and brass frame suggests it may be a replica of a confederate civil war revolver.

    Pritchett bullet ?

IIRC, the book covers everything about that cartridge. IIRC, the Minie bullet came first, the Pritchett later. However the paper patched Pritchett required a close fit in the barrel and manufacturing tolerances just weren't tight enough for mass use. The English 'Pritchett' bullet really should...

    Feldstutzer nipple

I’ve always wanted to give one of those a try. The Bulholzer bullet by itself is interesting.

    Feinwerkbau History no 3 required

from a quick search it looks like FWB #1 was an under hammer pistol, FWB#2 a Rogers & Spencer revolver, FWB #3 a 1858 Remington style revolver

    New to me

That looks like a TC Cherokee, I don't think Renegades came in .45, and don't have brass furniture.

Need help identifying this old muzzleloader

IIRC, those Swiss used several bullet styles, Accurate Bullet molds 40-289MN is a copy of one of the later ones.

    Springfield maybe?

I suspect a parts gun, it looks like a later trapdoor lock plate, maybe a trapdoor Springfield stock with a muzzle loading barrel. https://www.ssfirearms.com/proddetail.asp?prod=W15534&cat=94
