    Shooting A Righty Lefty

Well, I didn't buy the rifle after all. I decided to sleep on it, and when I woke up I decided it would be best to go with what I've always said, "Go for the best you can get" (within reason, of course). My reasoning? I can't afford to buy something cheap twice. The Schmidt and Bender ad...

    Shooting A Righty Lefty

 Works for me! Filling up the shopping cart as I type... What size flint do I need? I've got patches, bullets, short starter, and a pistol powder measure. Oh, and the gun itself  What else, will I be needing?

    Shooting A Righty Lefty

Thanks for the replies, I'm gonna go ahead and go for it. But I'm courious DGeraths, have you ever shot the flintlock without shooting glasses? The ONLY time I'd do that would be while I was hunting small game. Also, has anyone had any experience with this rifle? DGW Frontier Rifle. Thanks!

    Shooting A Righty Lefty

Hello. I've found the muzzleloading rifle I'd like to have. It's the DGW Frontier rifle in .32 caliber. Now my question is, since I'm a lefty, and the gun is a right handed flintlock, how would that be? I'd take it hunting, and from what I see, hunters don't wear shooting glasses. What do...

    Left-Handed Whitworth?

I was looking through an old edition of Dixie Gun Works, and came across a Whitworth rifle. While I cannot get one now, I would like to own one in the future. Though, I must wonder, are there any left handed Whitworths? Thanks! Jason

    Rifle Dilemma

Bald Mtn Man, I was thinking about doing something along the lines of that... I very recently noticed the "ranking" system around here... So I jokingly thought I would get a rifle in the caliber I went up in. Currently I'm a .32, so I buy a .32, then when I get a rank of .36, I'll buy a .36...

    Rifle Dilemma

Well, I was looking at Track of the Wolf and found something I fell in love with. The Southern Mountain Rifle Kit. If I paid for their 'smithing services, how tough would it be to assemble? I've taken woodshop and machine shop (though I did poorly in that class. Guess I'm a wood guy)...

    Rifle Dilemma

Hello! I’m interested in getting my OWN black powder rifle, but am having decision problems. Several of them, in fact. At least I know what type and what (two) calibers I am looking at, as well as the style/era I’m looking at a Revolutionary-era Kentucky rifle. Apparently they’re also...
