    No. As a ring is shaved off anyway, the ball is no longer perfectly round but sort of cylindrical. More like a bullet. It won't hurt.

    Every time! And if I used bore butter it was worse! Old # 13, or spit patching works best for me to eliminate fouling that channel.

    Just put a little FFFG in the barrel followed by the regular 777 charge. Thats should ignite it. If not, try a musket nipple and cap. They never fail to ignite.

    When I was a kid in Germany, it was pretty rural. They used to have these trucks come around that we called the honey wagon. Basically it was manure with water in it they used it all the time for their crops.
