    Weird Things

Many years ago I was muzzleloading with my nephew we were pushing a draw. He was in the bottom and I on the ridge when out comes a doe at 40 yds. We both fired the exact same time and a sound I've never heard. We think out bullets hit each other. Now we have no way to prove it but she should...

    What in the underlug?

A soldering iron is another way to not disrupt the surrounding surfaces. A torch can cause damage to bluing and such. Good luck on your project.

Show N Tell your first MLer rifle

My first was a cva bobcat from a pawn shop. I know it was less then $75.00. And it was a struggle to come up with the cash. My best kill with all my hunts was with that gun. Nailed a big Doe running away with a classic Texas heart shot at about 35 yds. I still have it.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Out in Maine looking at the fall colors. Found this cool fort called Knox on Penobscot bay. Totally made from granite. I would love to fire one of the big ones off.

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

Spent a long weekend in NW Nebraska at Fort Robinson. Took a day to go to Museum of the Fur Trade east of Chadron. It's been 20 years and still a wonderful place. I kept trying to reach for the guns but the glass got in my way. Lots of trade guns and everything a trading post would have. Neat...
