    Due for a good film

The Big Country is an outstandingly good western. It is a typical Hollywood production, where all the actors were dressed like they were in a Bonanza episode. However, you soon forget about that once the story unfolds. And the incredible cast, with the very good acting, and the chosen actors to...

    Keeping Walker cylinder turning freely

I just fixed my short arbor on my 3rd model Colt dragoon a few days ago, with a hand fitted and filed shim. It was a little labor intensive, but definitely worth the effort. It solved all those problems that a short arbor causes.

My first cap and ball revolver

Blackie Thomas had a video out a few years back, on how to stop cap jams without buying slick shot nipples. It involves cutting an ever so light groove on the face of the original nipple. If you can find the video, watch it. It can save you some money.

    Why a Fowler

I would get the fowler or the .58 caliber colonial. You could us the fowler on the wild hogs, I know they have plenty of in New Mexico, and the colonial rifle in .58, will give you the knock-down power you will need for elk, or bear. This is of course my very own opinion. Maybe get them both.
