    Thanks everybody for the suggestions. I thought the heavier bullet would require more powder, but I will start at the 80 grains and go from there.

    I'm a new member and hope this is the appropriate place to post this question. I have a .50 cal Renegade flintlock and normally shoot 275 grain maxi balls with 80 grains of powder. I found a box of 350 grain maxi balls I didn't know I had, what amount of powder should I use with these heavier...
