Move hand or move finger?
Robin, I have had good luck with shooting the rear trigger first . The recoil will move your hand slightly forward and position your finger for the second shot with the right barrel. This is especially true if you are using heavy loads.This was something I read ablut from Elmer Keiths shotgun...- mallard1

.54 CVA Hawkens
I have a 54 CVA Hawken Kit that I got from Service Merchandise that had 2 barrels. I bought a pawn shop rifle with a bad bore and made up the 50 for my friend. I call my 54 'Harry Truman' . I have never shot anything but bucks with this rifle. Harry's favorite saying was ' The buck stops here'...- mallard1

Gosh dang it I need help.
It sounds like your barrel is heating up and moving around as it is shot. Check to see that the barrel is evenly seated in the stock. If this is a kit gun it may not have been inletted evenly. Then as it is shot it heats and moves in stock throwing your shot around on the target. I had this...- mallard1
