That is a lot better shooting that I can get with my .54 Deerstalker! Good shooting! I'm sure the gun is capable...I am not great on targets as far as grouping/cloverleaf shots but I am a pretty good shot on deer!

I had that same thought...he would have kept bidding higher. Thanks for your response. I have always liked the way they look and could care less about authenticity and not being a "real/true" Hawken at least at this point. Perhaps someday I will want a more authentic Hawken.

Thanks man like I said I've really had my eye on a Hawken. I got a Deerstalker about 5 years ago to hunt PA's flintlock season and I've really enjoyed it and the challenge of shooting a flinter. You could say I've been bitten by the bug! haha

This does look awesome however I posted recently about wanting to tiger stripe my Deer Stalker and many said not to burn...to paint or dye. But again, the guns striped in this post look amazing!
