    Please forgive the confusion... what I meant to say was which type of patchbox would be more correct on this rifle, and are they any advantanges to one or the other? What's the twist rate on that barrel? Also, as far as the furniture goes, bronze or iron? And why? Thank you so much for your help!

    Other than a Kentucky, what styles of flintlock pistols can be easily found in .54 caliber? Always nice to be able to use the same ball for rifle and pistol :)
