Update to the Jawbreaker deer hunt story - Since I couldn't edit original post.

:D:D That's awesome! But, Wait a dad blame minute! You took a deer without all the perfect measured and prepared accouterments? Nonsense. :D True or not, still a fun little tale to read. We will see what the Maniac's results are?

What do you guys lube your C&B revolvers with?

60% beezwax and 40% Lambs tallow ( or any rendered animal fat). It's good and stiff and serves me well for lubing the arbor. I also use it for bullet lube.

    Hickock 45 Dry Balls It

STOP using tapered ground screwdrivers on your guns!! I cringed watching him use that screwdriver on that original. If he had the correct tool for the job (SQUARE GROUND FLAT TIP) He wouldn't have been slipping and fumbling with that screw. There is NO tapered slot in ANY flat head screw...

    Now I will clean it.

You guys HAVE to try Squirrel Taco's. If you season ( taco seasoning) and throw them in an Insta Pot (or any pressure cooker) The meat falls off the bone and is nice and tender. Put that on a nice warm corn tortilla street taco style. SLAP YO MAMA GOOD. I do Rabbit like this too. Even my...

Nice thank you for the update and review. I'm gonna order one for sure.

    Now I will clean it.

I've always used the animal fat and beezwax. I smear a little on the barrel around the nipple, etc. Also, before I put my barrel in the stock I wipe on a coating of lube on the under side of the barrel. I've went a few days to a week without cleaning before with no I'll effects even in SC...

Anyone use a chest / shoulder type holster for a Remington NMA?

I'm looking for a Chest / Shoulder holster to fit my Uberti NMA 8" for hunting purposes. I think this will work ALOT better for my uses. Like using my climbing stand and hang ons. Anyone use or have one that fits the revolver well and is fairly comfortable? Any recommendations are greatly...

Did Pedersoli stop production of their 62 caliber Indian trade musket?

I second the Kibler Fowler. It's made in the USA and the things are very high quality for the money. Replacement parts are not gonna be a big deal.

    Flintlock Traditions kentucky pistol mods.

    Tumbling balls in soapy water

If you want pretty balls I guess roll em around in some soap. But dirty, crusty, even sometimes wrinkled balls will hit where ya point em. My rifles don't seem to care. I'm not one that like to do all sorts of Logistics to shoot my Frontstuffers, the less the better. I used to have a wooden...

    T/C 15/16" barrel

I recently had Mr. Hoyt bore a .54 T/C to .56 SB. He told me he could take that barrel all the way to 20ga if I wanted.
