A good friend recently sent me some bear oil. I mixed it with real beeswax. The consistency is just about like TOTW Mink Oil that I have been using. Gale force winds continue here in KY. Temps dropped big time. Hoping to be able to go back over to that area and looking around more soon. It’s a huge area overall with a couple of small backroads. Hopefully I’ll be able to find a promising looking place that’s out of the wind to hunt for later...- ETipp

Thanks. I’m not sure just how good this new place might be but I’m going to find out. There are quite a few squirrels in there for a fact. Much of hunting is about location, IMO. You can’t kill them if they aren’t there. After finding them then it’s up to us to do our part properly.- ETipp

Been raining here in KY since before daylight. I absolutely like to squirrel hunt in light rain, but only if there is no wind to go along with it. The winds here are, and have been forecasted to be about 14 MPH gusting to over 25 MPH for the next few days. With that said, the wind has calmed...- ETipp

An update on cataract surgery and lenses implants. As I have previously posted, the implants I chose are called Panoptix. They are a Tri-Focal lense. Just as the eye surgeon and research has stated, vision is slowly but surely improving. As it is now, I can see squirrels running up and down...- ETipp
