    Targets; Opinions wanted

buck horn sights is almost like a peep sight. I would start at 50 yards use a 6 o'clock hold if it's low file down the front sight until you hit just 2 inches above center. Go to the hundred yard you should be on target. You can also adjust powder charge will change things aswell

    Why only one?

Be a better shot you only need one. The pistol you carrie should only be use for personal protection.

    Large lead shot

Some times things sell for a price because of what you call it. For instance an 8 quarter piece of lumber is a board but if you call it a gunstock blank it cost moore.

380s work best in my uberti 36cal navy. They said use 375 but I don't get a ring and the the balls sometimes sticks to the loading leaver. That is a good deal though

It was cheap to shoot back then a pound of powder was 6 or 7 dollars and a box of Hornady balls was cheap. It's still cheaper then cartridge guns.

You could possibly match a brown bess lock to your indian or italian gun from Dixie gun works. And there are guys who could either harden your locks hammer or make you one out of better material. All depends on how much your willing to put into a cheap gun.
