Friends, our 2nd Amendment rights are always under attack and the NRA has been a constant for decades in helping fight that fight.
We have partnered with the NRA to offer you a discount on membership and Muzzleloading Forum gets a small percentage too of each membership, so you are supporting both the NRA and us.
I read a lot! I love history. I've been going back and forth from Clive Cusslers historical fiction,( I highly recommend the SEA HUNTERS,1 AND 2 ,.to books about the frontier and mountain men. I'm currently reading GIVE YOUR HEART TO THE HAWKS. By Win Blevins. I get a few mag subscriptions as...
Finished the last day of our black powder league. Was a great time. What a great bunch of people with a lot of knowledge, will definitely do it again. I didn't do too bad for the first time. If I counted right, I came in 12 out of 23. We will see for sure at our banquet on Wed.

I'm om my way to the muzzle loading arms and accoutrement show in Lapeer Michigan this morning! Looking forward to finding some nice treasures! Lucky for me its only a 1/2 hour drive away.
Yes, you are right, the pistol looks the same. It does more resemble a lever action without the lever. And yes, there is nothing that comes close to a sidelock when it comes to appearance. They are pure artwork. I just bought a kentucky rifle kit with a beautiful wood grain, and can't wait to...
Its legal regardless of hunting season,( at least where I live) Michigan has ruined the traditional muzzIe loading season with the shotgun primer guns, and the other cartridge guns they allow now. Its not about getting back to basics anymore unfortunately, its about cash flow. I was just asking...
I kind of thought it might be considered one, like one of the first, a hybrid so to speak. It is a super gun for sure, like a tank! I've just always wondered what it is considered. I appreciate the input, yes, maybe the moderators can shed some light.
Hi all, I have a question, I have seen the discussion about the description of an in line black powder rifle. I am not selling anything and believe in the use of traditional side lock front loaders. This is for my info only. I have among my collection a TC Texas Scout. Octagon barrel. Closed...
Thats a great price! just purchased one Friday from the Kenokee trading post. The foam in the box had been crushed, but there is no damage to the kit itself, and everything is there. I paid 274.00. I haven't seen them so far on the net for under 375.,usually more. They have one more for about...
I purchased a Traditions 50 cal kentucky rifle from the Kenockee trading post yesterday. I'm looking forward to building it in the fall. I realized how many differences there are between the the percussion and flintlock. I'm leaving it percussion, and possibility change it from single trigger to...
