I was thinking of dipping them in hot lube. I like the corn meal idea it may help keep the bullet from deforming.

I have one but never shot it. I got the right mold from a member here. Does any one have one. I was going to shoot it with a lube bullet without making a paper cartridges. Is it safe to do it thanks.

I Shot my Shiloh sharps 54 caliber for 1st time. It was very cool and fun to shoot paper cartridges all went off. The gun shot high at 50 yards right on at 100 yards. Have to get use to sights they are very fine and small. I ran a patch after each shot it clean up nicely took everything apart...
