UPS has outdone itself. I'm actually impressed by how massive of a failure this is, even Kiblers famous crates are no match! INSURE YOUR STUFF FOLKS!

Ups sucks. I was into antique outboards and had one delivered to me. I watched the driver open the back doors of the truck and get in and get the package. He dropped it on its end onto my driveway then jumped down and brought it to my door. I made him wait while I opened it. When he dropped it...

    FOR SALE Kentucky pistol

For sure correct hammer. Do remove the lock and look at the half **** and full **** sear positions on the tumbler. This may be buggered up. I have found the these pistols have excessive mainspring pressure and the flintlock versions are flint wrecking frizzen bouncers. Could be same with that...

    FOR SALE Kentucky pistol

If you try to remove the drum for any reason be advised it may be left hand threads and there should be a very tiny little arrow indicating that on the barrel by it. I missed that on the exact model I was converting to flint and only after twisting it off did I notice the little arrow.

Loyalist Arms vs. Veteran Arms flintlock pistols

I have the 1731 Potsdam Prussian cavalry pistol from them. It would not have worked without tuning the lock , specifically the frizzen spring. I am very picky about my things like that and pretty much went through the whole thing getting it right for me. I knew it was going to be a project...

Rebuilding an old Indian made 1756 Brown Bess Musket

I was sharing my method of dealing with a India made example that most likely used the same type of wood and since he is working on correcting his India made example I thought he would appreciate an example of what can be done using different methods. No rudeness there at all. Or certainly not...

Rebuilding an old Indian made 1756 Brown Bess Musket

This came from Access Heritage (Military Heritage) their version of the Potsdam Prussian cavalry pistol. While every part received attention, I will explain my finish process on the wood I happen to have a gallon of the now banned methylene chloride stripper and that made quick work of the...

Thanks, I try to do my best on little details like that that are never seen. Pretty sure with a few heavy loads things would have been moving back some without the bedding.

    Smoothbore bedding

Here is a .62 pistol bedded with an epoxy/ wood flour with colorant. The finish will be dark when done. The inletting job here looked as if they may have used a miniature chainsaw. Perfect force distribution now.
