I was out shooting a new scout ( new to me it’s a used gun) and on the second shot I had burnt powder blown back into my face. Luckily I was where sunglasses. It severely burned my check under my eye.
I am taking the gun to a gun smith today but any thoughts on what might have happened or be...
I am considering buying an extra 54 cal 1 in 38" twist barrel for my TC Scout Carbine.
Is this rate of twist better for conical bullets or balls?
I am in Colorado so we can not use sabots for hunting.
Thoughts?
