FOR SALE .54 Caliber Tennessee Flintlock Rifle

Just a head's up, looks like you linked to your channel rather than the video itself. Easy enough to find since it's the first video with a rifle in the thumbnail, but might as well make it easier ;) . Also, you'll need to post a photo of the rifle with a piece of paper with your username...

SOLD Small Elk antler Pan primer

Ended up going with another fine Two Feathers primer, so this one is still up for grabs (Unless someone else swooped in already)! I can HIGHLY recommend picking this up. Two Feathers gear is very well made, and he's a joy to deal with. Someone give this one a good home!

    Flintlock muzzleloaders will rule again

That's a good point. I remember hearing stories about pirates and other sailors introducing wild hogs to islands so they could be sure they'd have a food source if they needed it. Not sure how true the stories are, but seems like wild hogs might be the most sustainable food source around 😂

    Flintlock muzzleloaders will rule again

Livestock would certainly go quick, if people are as stupid as I think they might be. Slaughtering them all without any thought of preserving breeding stock to replenish. Game animals, I'm not so sure about. I think it depends on the area. In areas with a lot of hunters that know what they're...

    Flame-Thrower

Okay yeah, I am in absolute awe of how cool this thing is. Bravo!

    Flame-Thrower

Excuse me, but are you hip-firing a cannon? That might be the coolest thing I've ever seen.

Longer flints; Or inserting flints farther out?

Luckily for me, I'm a bit between missus's right now. Haven't tasted a bar of soap in quite a while ;)

    Flame-Thrower

Not quite as impressive of a fireball as y'alls, but I'll drop these here.

    Flint orientation

Sadly the "try it" method is the best way to figure it out. There's a ton of knowledge around here, but at the end of the day we're all just slamming a rock into metal and hoping for a boom. For what it's worth, tinkering seems to be the best way to go about finding the best ignition for your...

SOLD thompson center stock and lock

Maybe I can help, I know these forums aren't super intuitive for folks that didn't grow up on this sort of stuff. First, you'll need to get the photo onto your computer (Assuming you're posting from a computer rather than a phone). You can do that by e-mailing the photo from your phone to...

Longer flints; Or inserting flints farther out?

Oh, I've been getting very proficient with the naughty words 😂 Makes sense, though. The more I think about it, the more I realize it's just a piece of rock hitting some metal and making a spark. It's not nuclear fission, and that means there's a lot of room for experimentation and "field...

Longer flints; Or inserting flints farther out?

But that's too simple! I have to needlessly complicate things! 😂 But yeah, you're probably right. It does tend to go bang every time I pull the trigger, until my flint gets too worn and that gap rears it's ugly head again. I think I might even experiment with more shimming to get more life out...

    Humpback Flints?

I love a good humpback flint. My flint-gun's lock geometry is a little weird, and in order to strike as far up on the Frizzen as I need to, I need to gain a little height. A humpback flint inserted bevel-down strikes the frizzen right where it should.

Longer flints; Or inserting flints farther out?

So I have a T/C Hawken. Super fun rifle. But it takes a 5/8" Flint, and every 5/8" Flint I've found is only 3/4" long (Or 5/8"x5/8", but that's even worse.). My issue is that with 5/8"x3/4" flints, there is a HUGE gap between the frizzen and flint at half-cock. At least 1/4". My research has led...

    WANTED wtb flints

The black French flints from them have been treating me very well, but unfortunately they seem to be having supply line issues. Would highly recommend if they have the size you need, though.

SOLD Pending payment ESSE 3 RANDALL'S ADVENTURE

Never seen an ESEE with a handle like that! That's awesome! I'm all set on fixed blades right now, but for anyone interested, I can 110% attest to the quality of ESEE knives. I have an ESEE 3 and and ESEE 5. The 3 is perfect for an everyday carry fixed blade, and I keep the 5 in my hiking/bugout...
