    Rigarmi 1860 Army

VTI said they don't have anything for the Rigarmi Colt 1860. I suspect the Dixie screw pack will have the sizes needed for current repops. I'll talk to Lodgewood to see if they have the right size threaded pin for the trigger in their inventory. I'm sure it's available somewhere but may not...

    Rigarmi 1860 Army

Good idea. I just sent VTI an email asking if they are familiar with the RIG manufactued Colt 1860 clone and have screws to fit. If they don't know, I think I'll go see Lodgewood when they're at the N-SSA Fall skirmish. I think the technical term for these are threaded pins. Thanks

    Rigarmi 1860 Army

Thanks, I am familiar with both of those sources as well. Maybe Taylor's would have someone who I could talk to about diameter/pitch specifics. What would be good to find is a place that sells these parts in different sizes and not just by a generic model designation that fits most Italian...

    Rigarmi 1860 Army

Just purchased an old Rigarmi 1860 Army (made in 1974) and need a trigger screw, it uses a smaller diameter screw than Uberti/Pieta/CVA. I ordered a screw from e-gunparts and it's too thick. Anyone know where else I can look for screws to get this thing shooting again?

    1816 musket stock restoration

I did this with a M1842 that had the stock cut between the lower and middle band. I bought a Dunlap forend and grafted it at the lower band. Proviso: I make no claims to being an expert woodworker. There are probably better ways to do this. I cut the stock and forend where the lower band...

    Shooting percussion for first time

I have a James River M1841 Varient E rifle with the M1855 sight. There are numbers stamped on the sight for range in yards. All the way down was for 100 yards. The sight base has notches that are marked for 200, 300, and 400 yards. Move the slider towards the muzzle so that it will lay on the...
