Ya' never know what's up there.

I saw some more wolves. I was beaver hunting with a friend of mine last weekend, we set up an ambush for beavers near their dam about 600m from our car. when we walked in there was fresh snow on the ground. we sat for about 5 hours with no sight of beavers, and then we returned to our car. we...

    Just a wabbit...

Congrats on a nice rabbit! I would love to go hunting with a muzzleloader too, but that will still take a few years, as i have to apply for a license for a black powder firearm from my local police station first, and before that i have to figure out which type of permit will i need for a kibler...

    How old are ya?

In my workplace we had a Nigerian fellow as a trainee who came to hunt with me once. he said that i work in ancient ways when i am out there. I took it as an honor.

I would like to try, but as for now bearhunting is heavily debated and probably soon not allowed anymore in finland :/

Ya' never know what's up there.

I have had a couple scary encounters here in Finland. First one was when i was fishing in northern Finland where i have my cabin, and i heard howling. I thought it was someone's dog, as there were lots of bird hunters around. It did cross my mind that i might have been a wolf, but i dismissed it...

    Swedish percussion smoothbore from 1846

Yeah. in swedish muzzleloader is "Mynningsladdare" and caplock rifles are "Slaglåsgevär". i speak fluent-ish norwegian and a little bit of swedish, so it will not be a big task for me to find forums

    Swedish percussion smoothbore from 1846

Hello. I recently acquired an old Swedish percussion smoothbore, that the seller said was from 1850 and made in Sweden, but that is about all info i have on it. I would love to learn more about it, but i think my chances are rather slim to find out the maker, but let's see. I found a stamp...

What Muzzleloading Stuff Did You Do Today?

I cleaned the lock of my ''new'' approx 1850's made swedish matchlock. Not in shootable condition, as the barrel is pitted by corrosion and trigger spring is broken, but i will have this as a darned pretty decoration. I will forge a new trigger spring for her though. I would love to learn more...

Hello from a new member from the Cold North

Well, our UAVs at work actually are fixed wing ones, altough with quad motors for vertical takeoff. as a hobby i have flown only fixed wings and traditional helicopters, i don't own any quadrotors myself as i find them very boring. My biggest plane has 5 meter wingspan (K-8c glider), and it's...
