    Gun Cabinet for muzzleloaders

Making my own is an option but I don't have a big enough shop. I could do it but it would be a bit tough. Perhaps I should think outside the box like Flint62Smoothie did. 🤔

    Gun Cabinet for muzzleloaders

If this is the wrong forum for this question, I apologize. Does anyone know where I can find a gun cabinet that will fit longrifles? A couple of mine are 56 inches or more. All the cabinets that I've found at Cabelas, Walmart, etc. will only about fit guns up to 50 inches.

    Black powder in New Jersey?

Hey guys, I'm looking to buy black powder after a long time out of the hobby. The local place I used to get it from is no longer in business. I could go to Dixon's in Kempton PA but I really don't feel like driving 2+ hours. Is there any shops that still have it in south Jersey? Or even near...

    New rifle to me!

Just acquired this beautiful 40 caliber Lancaster rifle from Clay Smith. Made by Don Greene. Not sure when. I love the simplicity of it. Plain iron furniture but with a cheek piece star inlay and a nice patch box flower carving incorporating the release for it. I'm not a big fan of the real...

    Patch Box?

Typically some amount of tow and some kind of lube like animal grease. Also possibly a worm for the tow. Depended on how much room was in there.

    Gunmakers Fair at Kempton

Great show for sure. I was a bit overwhelmed but man, I was like a kid in a candy store. Good thing I only brought cash and left the plastic at home! Picked up a nice beavertail shooting bag from The Leatherman. Also talked with some longarm makers. This my first but definitely not my last!

Who among us are PIPE smokers?

A very good book, if you're into Civil War history is; "Tobacco and Smoking Among the Blue and Gray" by Ben Rapaport. I have it and I highly recommend it if you're at all curious about the subject.

Who among us are PIPE smokers?

I smoke pretty much every weekend. I also smoke cigars. I have several historical correct clay pipes I used during my reenacting days. A nice small one for F&I and Rev war. And one with a reed stem for Civil war. There's just something about after a hard day, laying around the fire puffing away...
