    Revolvers with no loading lever

    If you have a 1851 with a barrel with the attached loading lever, like loading on a press anyway, and just like the look of not having that lever, can you just remove the lever and still shoot it or do you have to get a replacement barrel that never had one?

    The max recommended load for the .31 pocket is 12 gn fff and supposedly gives you 790 fps which is 69.3 fpe which gives it exactly the power of a modern pocket .25
