    That does sound like a good idea , I will have to try that next time. I already clean my barrel using Murphy's oil and Baking Soda. That method has worked for me for years. Cheaper than the hoppes stuff and quicker too.

    Today , I tried to make me some homemade "Bore Butter" . Using xtra Virgin Olive Oil and Pure Beeswax. Seems to have come out ok !!!

    I wonder why the 1:56 inch twist ?? Was this number somehow scientifically calculated ?? Too bad nobody really carried on the "Johnson City" school.
