    I'm in the same boat. Just started getting my new .58 figured out. Have a 32" 1 in 70 twist bbl and have had the best groups so far w a 275gr Hornady swaged round ball, 85gr of Swiss 2F with a felt wad and .18 pillow ticking patch.

    I owned a 32 Traditions Crockett rifle. My best loads were with 10 to 15 grains of 3f Swiss, .310 ball and .010 cotton patch. I could shoot 10-15 times before I swabbed the barrel.

    I refuse to use USPS I had a Winchester SX1 barrel get lost then on top of that the Post office lost the claim paperwork . After 2 items vanished from the USPS system I refuse to use their services for shipping firearms.

    The lee designed cap and ball bullets are very nice. The are not historically accurate but they make good shooters.

    never tried them but heard they were one of the cleanest animals to eat i guess thats right since about all they eat is grass if you find an recipes on here pm them to me i shoot a bunch of those critters in the summer outta the hay field and i'll try about anything once.
