    Absolutely beautiful country, I would go to the little trees in middle and wait there. Looks almost like hunting in Davis Mountains of west Texas. A little less rugged.

    Yes I do! I have harvested several deer in David Mountains but never would even think of chancing a shot. I have taken with bow and percussion. I don’t hunt anymore because I only have one eye left and if I did hunt I’m afraid that if it wasn’t a good kill at 84 I couldn’t track a wounded...

    Loved shortly M- in marines I can’t shoot offhand because my bro eat is so strong. I qualified if I can remember back 60+ years 1959 with 238 all out of black were offhand.

    Exactly what Ian in process of doing. I just gave one of my friends a new flintlock kit to build and bought another one already made cause he is old and probably not enough to to build and enjoy. I’m 83 and am seriously thinking of building myself a flintlock. I’ve built 2 cappers. .45 and .54

    If you are going to take a risky shot at an animal I woysuggest you put the gun away and go to Burger King! You should not be hunting anything at all!!!!
