Yep, but I decided to go with L&R with the appropriate threads on a 1" plug and file the exterior down to match with 15/16 " width.

In search of a breech plug for a Rice barrel 15/16 " in .54 caliber. The manufacturer said I need 3/4 -16 threads 1/2 deep. TOTW is out and I can't find the longer tang that I need for the inletting. Any leads would be appreciated.

Yup. They've worked well for me with beef tallow lube with a hint of beeswax.

They work well for me, I use a regular round patch for an overpowder patch as well.

I simply want a Gemmer Hawken lefty flinter. I'm a realist considering my skill set though, I'd hate to booger something up...

Ordered a kit in August, but it's still incomplete, Owner says it's on the way, but he bungled the address on the 2nd shipment. It's frustrating because I really wanted this kit but now I have to find a new vendor and start all over. Venting and milling sights/ installing breech plug is beyond...

I had a very negative experience with sitting Fox, delays, incomplete shipment on kit due to improper address label......🙄🙄

When I receive my refund balance, that's what I'll do too. Lesson learned. 😑

If you decide on Pedersoli, I placed my order in July, and it showed up in September, they told me the same lead time. You know they put out decent stuff.

I ordered a kit from Sitting Fox months ago. Still haven't received the other 1/2 of the kit. He's ignored my texts and emails.... I'm out $552 at least. Don't recommend. 😠
