    Mucking around buying stuff at yard sales to set up my first casting production for .58 cal minis. Bought 40 lbs plumber pipe lead from recycled at .88/lb. It's a start.

    Thanks this is an excellent thread just the kind of advice I'm looking for. I have an original 58 cal Enfield most likely used by Confederates. I'm getting the barrel relined by Hoyt. I'm going to try N-SSA but I'll have to find out if I have the marksmanship skills to handle it

    Hello from SE North Carolina. Getting into live fire with an original 1853 Enfield rifle musket (relined). I'm an experienced modern firearms action shooter reloader (9mm, .223, 300 blk out). Looking for info bullets, powder, caps, online bullets vs casting bullets and of course shooting.
