Update. I used crisco lubeon my .012 ticking & am putting a denim over powder patch about 3/4” square then loading the patched ball. Seems to be working. Ticking is .018 uncompressed &.012 compressed. Any thicker patch & i cant get the ball started.

One flyer jo ann fabrics it was washed & dried a couple years ago. & put away. The crisco worked well.

Used crisco today on .013 pillow ticking it shot well @ 50 yds. Tried .015 patch with crisco couldnt even get the ball started without deforming it badly.

I tried .018 balistol denim & couldnt get the ball started. Ruined the ball. I will try some .015 patching. Thanks for the reply
