    OK finally got tiried of playing MR. nice guy. Put a couple large pipe wrenches on the Darn thing.     This is a t/c renegade .54 barrel,I replaced with a green mountain 1 in 70 barrel. The t/c barrel is not something I will use in 54 again, thought I would ream it out to a smooth bore.

    How to ream out barrel

    After considering this for a while and borrowing on some of Horse Doctors information.Here is what I will try. Will grind the first 3/4" of the bit the diameter between the lands then follow Horse Doctors procedure. This should give me somewhat of a pilot to help maintain a true cut. Thanks...

    I am replacing a T/C 54 barrel with a slower twist Green Mountain. Is it possible to turn the T/C barrel into a smooth bore? If so is it possible to do it myself?
