    carving burls

    All of my scoutmaster carried noggins and we showed others what we did. We worked the burl green but when Not working on them place them in a sealed plastic sack. I never heard of anyone having a problem cracking. Some used a salad bowl finish others used vegatable oil. Carried mine for years...
