    Finally connected after many misses last week

    First week of flintlock here in Pennsylvania was fun and also frustrating. I learned quickly that I had not practiced enough with the flintlock, because I missed several deer at rock throwing distance, like 40 yards. One was a doe I missed three separate times with two different flintlocks...
