    Mowrey rifle Fourstock attachment?

    After removing the Fourstock from the barrel by pulling the forward pin I noticed no pin for the rear but a wood dowel inside without a way to attach it to stock. Anyone else with a Mowrey noticed this and what is a better way to secure stock, have my ideas but just lookin for other ideas.

    Fitting barrel to stock

    I'm trying to mount a round smooth bore barrel on to a new pre built stock, but sides of the barrel don't touch the stock, are the any ways to expand the side of the stock? I'm using this project to practice on before I buy the kit gun I want.
