well didnt get the two chambers 10ga's done so we had to use our doubles this spring. Actually dad doenst know he has a gun being built for him. If I could only find more time. Leaving tomorrow for the summer to charter fish.

Anyways, here's an update on the pedersoli. Found a good pattern to 25 yards, dropped 5 grains and went back to number 5's shot pretty dang well. Might have been the added number of shot going from 4's back to 5's. Most importantly the gun fired, every single time I pulled the trigger. 2007 was pretty demorilizing traveling that far to have those kinds of problems time after time.

Here are a pair of smoothy doubles in action. Mines the dixie pedersoli 10 ga. My dads is an unknown double. I forgot to get pics before I left to identify it on here. Anyways, here they come.

and by far my most favorite pic of 2008 turkey season for us. The wingbone was made by a good friend in WI. Makes some awesome wingbone calls. Took this pic for him. The first bird was shot using this call and the one he made my Dad.

Where in Wi do you hunt? I always forget to apply for my permit, as the deadline is so far in advance of the season. My neighbor always gets a nice bird off my woods. It's small (12 acres) but yields up lots of deer and turkeys. I have a good friend in Freeport, Illinois who is an avid turkey hunter and makes calls too. I have turtle shell, slate, and wingbone calls that he made.
