I have been away from black powder for over 20 years because of work & travel. Now that I am retired I want to get back to it. I have flint locks & revolvers, I would like to start shooting the revolvers but can't find #10 caps around Minneapolis, Rogers Cabella's, Elk River Track of the Wolf or Duluth. I finally found a tin of Remington #10 on the Internet at an outrageous price (I won't do that again). I realize there is panic buying of ammunition but caps for a black powder revolver? If anyone knows of a more reliable source I would appreciate a link.
Thanks

CCI Percussion Caps
Probably a $20 shipping fee involved.
Call your local Cabella's to see if they have then in stock at the store.

Yep, the panic spread to black powder and caps too. Starting to see some relief, maybe a few more months and things will be back to normal.

everyone got scared at the drought, so eveyone is now hoarding, so every little bit gets bought up as soon as it comes in stock. The manufacturers cant keep up with the demand. Blame the hoarders..blame those who never hoarded, and are without now and crazy to restock, Heck...just blame me...I'm used to it by now. guess its best to BE a hoarder..Buy bulk, keep a stockpile, and dont go crazy when things go out of stock for a while. Just remember those who price gouge now, and those who dont and give future buisness accordingly.

Yep...one advantage to the hazmat fee is, it pays to buy in bulk, for someone like me who has to drive a 120 mile round trip to get to a supplier. The last time I ordered I got a sleeve each of the caps I use most frequently so I can pop as many as I want.

Shooters supply in superior WI. Has everything you need on the shelf. Even a great staff to answer any questions. I was just there Friday. If they don't have it and you make the trip stop by my place I can help.

Well thanks a lot, I thought of going over there when I was up a couple weeks ago but went to Fisherman's corner after looking on the web, no luck. I come up to see my wife every couple of weeks & will look them up...Thanks again.

I have bought extra sets of nipples that take #11 caps for my pistols just because 11s seem easier to come by.This way you can go back & forth shoot what you can get.
