If a guy took a volume buy of 10,000 to get the price down to $0.052 /cap would it be worth it? I would never shoot that many but could re distribute...

Only would be worth if you know enough folks to take what you do not want. Only you know the answer to your question.

I haven't found any under $.07 ea, that's IF they're actually available, $.10 seems to be the new normal, again that's IF you can find em

It just depends on weather you are talking about shooting them all yourself or going in with others to split the order.I go in with my boys and nephew on cases of powder, so a case of caps would be no different. It would not only save money in the longrun but would assure you a supply for several years. When I get a volume of caps I put five tins in a vacum pack so they will stay good for several years protected from moisture.

10,000 caps = 10,000 shots …Theoretically …

70 grns powder per shot = 100 shots/caps per pound
1000 caps = 10 pounds of powder
10,000 caps = 100 lbs of powder…..
Of course I’m sure there will be a little spillage….
Got Powder? 👍

MHO says thats a bit too much cost cuttin? Just me though. Our sport is still way affordable compared to those smokeless folks. Hell a 30-30 shell cost ya $1.75 now IF YOU COME BY A BOX
