Well, this is it- I've a bunch more - closeups of various parts of the shotgun and it is worthwhile to see them. Beautifull work. The breeches had to be handmade as none available wre 'fitting'. It has a pair of Bailes L&R locks same as on my pistol- very fast ignition. I'll mail the folder to who wants it - just have to mail me first.

More Eye Candy- the bottom picture is the tail of the trigger guard, showing the inletting and flat-topped checkering.
: The breechblocks are rust blued and the barrels are lightly rust browned in their original colour. With a light reaming, the barrels came up bright and clean. this gun shoots IMP.CYL patterns with 2 1/2 drams 2F, card, fibre 1 1/8oz 6chilled + BB wad & is beautiful for upland and up until steel shot became necessary, ducks over decoys.

WOW!!!

I've wanted a double flint for years. Let one built by Dave Motto, I think, slip away about fifteen years ago and have been sorry ever since. Who made this one and are they still making them? Money is a little scarce now just bought a new sporting clays gun and a custom .40 flintlock but.... At any rate it is beautiful.
