.12 ga New Englander?

I recently picked up a New Englander with a .50 cal barrel and i am looking for a .12 ga barrel for it. I wondered if any of you that have them have tried them with rd balls, and if so what were the results? Do they do pretty good out to 50 yds or so?

UT, no, actually i paid $79 for it. :grin: And the way things are going in our country at this time i don't know that you are in the wrong country at all.

Maybe, maybe not.But i will never found an New Englander for $79 in Germany.Not even an Old Englander. :rotf:

you got a good deal, I just got one site unseen for 100$, then got it home and checked to find a very rough bore. a lapping got it to shoot PRB OK if I use a wet lubed patch and wipe after shots. I'm gonna try get some $$ back from the seller. the stock/lock is very good however. I'm hoping to find 12 ga bbl myself.
