Ya'll remember that Pedersoli Charleville 1777 Corrigé "An IX" that I found for $450.00? well, after cleaning it today what I first thought has been confirmed. It was unfired when I bought it.
I looked it over closely and found no powder residue in the pan, around the vent, on the hammer or anywhere else. I looked down the bore and the breech face was shiny clean as was the bore itself.
After shooting it today there is powder residue in places where you would expect, and where there was none before.
I can now say it has had a total of 3 rounds fired through it.
Not bad for a $450.00 musket that retails for $1215.00 from The Possible Shop, is it?
