1812 artillery carriage color?

Does anyone know whether Continental Blue or Prussian Blue would be correct for an 1812 irregular artillery gun carriage?

"The carriage is painted (?) blue, because my research at the time lead me to believe that was the color of French artillery (who usually picked blue to go with Bourbon white)"
