May I ask, for an experienced horner like yourself, about how many labor hours are involved in a creation like that? Not ever doing this myself I have no idea what it takes, but imagine it has to a be a LOT of hours.

I know that considering my lack of art skills I could spend forever and not come close to that work.
 
WOW! Are the bands around the horn copper? And how in the world did you get that swirl around the neck?

SpikeBuck, I worked on this horn and a couple others over a period of four weeks and really didn;t keep track of my hours on it, but probably in the 30 hour area total.

Double D, Yes that's copper bands and the spiral throat is hand carved that way. Took some time on those grooves!
