OK I've scratched my head awhile now trying to figure out how this attachment under front of barrel aid cavalry in loading while mounted on horseback. Ramrod still has to be pull out to clear front barrel band. What's to stop it from slipping through all the way landing on the ground? Can very end of ramrod be slightly larger not to slip through attachment? Illustrated drawing would be nice lol.
