1849 pocket .31

anybody had any experience with the uberti 1849 pocket pistol in .31? its that little five-shot revolver all them gold miners used in california.
what loads do you recommend?
and is there anyplace I can get balls for it or should I just go ahead and cast my own?

Colt recommends 14grs for the baby Dragoon and that's a full load for the ones I have. 00 buck (.325) is what I shoot for rb.
That load should give you just under 700fps with the 48gr rb.
