Assuming that is a *** in the diamond, it would be made by F.LLI Pietta.
The AF in the box represents the year it was made, in this case, 1980

By the way, you were almost there!
If you would have used the "reply" button to make your last post, when you wanted to put in a picture, select the little box with the picture of a mountain and sun in it. Then remove the http and enter the photobucket image number just like you did in your "LINK" and the picture would have been shown instead of the word LINK.
While I've got your attention, you can go to the "Members Resources" and click thru two buttons to get to the page with the suppliers Links.
I believe Dixie Gunworks will have all of the parts you need.

Last batch of Parts from Dixie, I has to send them back twice, wouldn't work on the 51 Pietta. I then tried VTI Gun parts, better parts, faster service even send notices when parts are back in stock. Good Luck.. PeashooterJoe
I just fixed an old Navy Arms "unfired" 1851 with new hammer spring. The original broke so there it sat for 30 years unfired! Also fixed new unfired 1851 in .44. The hand spring fell out of the groove! All parts I got from Dixie, but will look at other suppliers!
Many new things break or fail when new :cursing: Of course, that is how you get some deals!
