Hi I pick up two unfired ones today. They are marked with Hartford on top of barrel and marking on left side of grips. The sn are 14 numbers a part. Anything special about them. Thanks

EMF (Early Modern Firearms) maybe? Italian importer of unmentionable cowboy guns I believe mark things as Hartford. I could be wrong but someone will be along soon to add to this. Nothing special over others is my guess.

Guessing is fun around the campfire but on line when you lose the infection of the voice and maybe the smile on the face some will take incorrect information and build a whole concept around it. That doesn’t add to the knowledge and enjoyment of this fine sport.
I answered “nothing special is my guess” in answer to his question “anything special about them”. I’m not sure where I went astray here but open to discuss it. I said “I think Hartford is EMF” (that appears to be correct so what ‘incorrect information are we building a concept on’?) and I even said “others will be along who can answer” so I basically said “I am not an expert”.
