Does anyone know where I might find an adjustable front sight replacement for a 1858 Pietta REM? Presently my front sight is a non adjustable post.

If your gun is the same as mine, it'll likely require either a base that will need the barrel drilled and tapped or a dovetail to be cut into the barrel. But there's a few other ways to go about it too.

The easier solution might be to sell it and buy a target model.
Buy a Uberti Remington front sight and have it dovetailed into the barrel. It will be correct and windage adjustable too.
The new piettas 1858's have a dovetail frontsight now in 44 and 36.
