Did Richland arms make a steel frame pistol? I traded for one that the guy at the gun shop claimed was a Richland. The only markings, I can find are cal , black powder only on one side of barrel and made in Italy on the other side. It is steel framed.

Yes they imported steel framed ones. Pictures of all possible stamps might help us identify the manufacturer and year made.
